Hi, I am doing my graduation. Last week, we went on a trip to Niagara waterfalls. I was excited to see the waterfalls. But once I reached there I was not at all comfortable. I felt some kind of uneasiness to stay at that place. All my friends took me near to the waterfalls. But I couldn't stay there. I just peeped into it and after that, I was unable to look to the water falls out of fear. I then understood that even the sound of the waterfall was making me tensed. I stayed near the waterfalls barely for 5 min. My boyfriend was also there. He came to me and talked. After our conversation, he concluded that I am suffering from some kind of anxiety disorder. So he suggested visiting an anxiety disorder therapist from a clinic in Toronto. Is it necessary to visit the therapist? Is there any DIY method I can try? Please give me your suggestions.
