Hello, guys, This is Karen from Toronto and I am a newbie here. So after the last night dinner, my double kitchen sink got completely clogged. It had been running slowly for a while and I used the-the baking soda/vinegar solution followed by hot water attempting to keep it open. Now, nothing goes through it. I have tried everything at this point. Dawn/boiling water (which cleaned out the pipes under the sink nicely), plunging, snaking and finally bought chemicals today. At first, it looked like it was going to work out, but after letting it sit for an hour or so, then pouring hot water. The kettle of water couldn't fit in the pipes before it was all back into the sink. After a few minutes, I went to repeat the Drano gel process and the gel wouldn't even sink down the drain. I am stuck and I don’t know what to do about this. Did I make the condition worse? Should I seek the help of a drain cleaning service? Or can I fix this myself? Please help!
